Arc of Justice Pathway
a student project created to show HOW
MOVEMENTS FOR JUSTICE TAKE SHAPE IN THE US
Students in our Arc of Justice class worked with our art and English teachers to create an interactive exhibit at the historic Ashburn Colored School site; this collaborative project (along with an individual essay) will serve as their final exam for English class.
This mixed-media exhibit represents the students' collective understanding of how movements for justice take shape in the U.S., based on their study of history and literature this semester.
Books we read in the Arc of Justice English and History classes.
Students spent the week using independent study time clearing the lot at our new campus location, painting the pathway, and creating the exhibit.
